If you have not noticed, last year there was big trend sweeping the nation with the “Elf on the Shelf”. Unless you live in a stocking, we are sure that you saw a post or two about the crazy antics of Santa’s little helper.

Shortly after Thanksgiving, or sometimes on December 1st, these elves start to appear in their families homes and are named by the children. The elves stick around for the month, reporting back to Santa nightly about how the children are behaving.
This year we have our own little helper arriving from Siberia, where he has been isolated and cold for the last 12 moths. We are anticipating the arrival of our very own “Snowball on the Wall” sometime this weekend… We got a letter notifying us that this “Snowball on the Wall” requested a transfer to someplace warm and friendly, hence his assignment to our store. We are a bit worried that he may not be on his best behavior because we have a lot for him to do to help us through the busy shopping days ahead.

Just like his cousin, “Elf on the Shelf'”, “Snowball on the Wall” will come to us with adoption papers and need to be named right away. For that we are going to enlist the help of all of you. We want you to be involved in a month full of mischief and mystery starting with naming our newest employee. Watch for his arrival on Sunday and give us your suggestion for his name.
