I’m really excited to be able to announce that we’ll be having a new celebrity teacher come see us at the store in April. I’ve managed to convince Seth Apter to come on down and show us how he makes his wonderful pieces. Seth’s the one on the left in the picture, by the way.
While he is here, we are going to work him hard! Two full day workshops and an evening class. So don’t miss your chance.

If you’ve not seen Seth’s art before here’s a little about him in his own words.
Introducing Seth Apter

I am a mixed media artist, instructor, author and designer from New York City. My artwork has been exhibited in multiple exhibitions and can be found in numerous books and national magazines. I am the voice behind The Pulse, a series of international, collaborative projects that are the basis for my books “The Pulse of Mixed Media: Secrets and Passions of 100 Artists Revealed” and “The Mixed-Media Artist: Art Tips, Tricks, Secrets and Dreams From Over 40 Amazing Artists”, both released by North Light Books.
I am the artist behind two workshop DVDs: Easy Mixed Media Surface Techniques and Easy Mixed Media Techniques for the Art Journal. I am an instructor at Pratt Institute in NYC and my live workshops have been held throughout the United States, Canada, Mexico, Australia and the UK. I have a mixed media line with Spellbinders Paper Arts, a stencil line with StencilGirl Products and a stamp line with Impression Obsession. I am a member of CHA and a columnist for Cloth Paper Scissors magazine.
I cannot wait!!!! Decisions decisions. Which class(es) do I take.
Looking forward to seeing you Michele — no matter which classes you choose.
I am starting to stash my cash. I do not want to miss this. How many camels do I have to sell?
