Coming this October, we’ve put together a brand new ATC exchange group, A Trip Through Europe!
For those who don’t know, ATC’s (Altered Trading Cards) are little cards that you make to trade with others, kind of like baseball cards but waaaay more fun! ATC’s are 2 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ and are made using a sturdy base… at least two layers of cardstock or chipboard when possible. You don’t want to trade floppy cards!
SO… that leads us to our new ATC trading group. Here are all the details:
Each month the group will make cards based on a particular country and each month will feature a particular technique. Each member of the group will make four ATC’s based on the country and using the technique that are the themes for that month. Everyone will put their cards in a top secret bin (which will be whatever we can find that day to put them in, for sure!). Then everyone will draw a number, and based on number order will begin picking their ATC’s from the top secret bin. Everyone will leave with four new ATC’s from other group members plus a make-and-take ATC that will be completed during the meeting. Pretty cool, right?
This group will meet once a month on a Friday evening and will begin meeting in October. This is a free group, but please call to register so Michelle knows how many make and takes to prepare. Can’t wait to see you there!
