DJ Pettitt 3 Day Workshop in April!

  In this 3-day course, we'll build a book using photos and simple methods for painting over them to create journal covers on 6" canvas boards. Then, be prepared for a whirlwind of techniques to create the fabric hinges, painted and collaged signatures, and embellished spine to complete the book. DJ will instruct you on how to paint over and alter your photos; integrate collage elements into your composition; incorporate texture, ephemera, and textiles; and finally, pull it all together with a simple binding technique. No drawing or painting skills required. Class is open to all skill levels and you will receive personalized one-on-one guidance throughout the workshop.

DJ Pettitt will be here from April 4-6. Classes will run from 10:00am to 5:00pm for the three days. The workshop is $585 with an $85 non refundable deposit required to hold your spot.  All class fees to be paid in full by February 15th.   

No drawing or painting skills required. Class is open to all skill levels and you will receive personalized one-on-one guidance throughout the workshop.

Continental Breakfast is included on Saturday and Sunday, Lunch is provided on Friday and Dinner on Saturday.  We will also have snacks, coffee, water and soda throughout the event.
